NEWS

June 2, 2007 (1:00 PM)

It rained in Florida and Georgia! Thanks to T.S. Barry!

We have been on vacation to Michigan so I did not have time to post news so here is what I learned from our 2500 mile driving trip.

Gasoline Prices were over $3.50 in Ohio and Michigan!

The Economy in general is in much worst shape than I expected.

Here are some notes during the trip.

5/23/07 Shell Port Orange $3.14

5/24/07 Flying J, Rock Hill South Carolina

5/25/07 Clyde Ohio $3.49

5/30/07 Clinton, Tenn Shell $2.99

5/29/07 Anna Ohio Marathon $3.29

5/24/07 Williamstown West Virginia $3.19

5/30/07 Jacksonville, Florida Kangaroo $3.05

5/30/07 Byron, Ga. Pilot $23.30

(The last 100 miles on I-75 going south was heavy smoke!!!)

Shell Yemassee I-95 Exit 33 Shell $3.10

I want to extend out to Mr. Brian King Store Manager at Bob Evans in Middletown, Ohio Unit# 104 for providing a high point in our trip through Ohio. If someone from Bobevans.com finds this posting you should be proud of the people at Middletown Ohio Unit #104.

Best Wishes to Mr Brian King

Next we want to thank Mr. Perky of Tecumseh Michigan for paying for the fuel used by 12 planes during the Tecumseh Memorial Day Parade. The parade was great the planes flying over the Chicago Blvd. made me so proud to be a former resident of Tecumseh. The visit to Monroe was also great to see General Custer on his horse in the square was shocking. Then to see the place "Dandy" enjoyed for at least 30 years (General Custer's Father had a place on 116 acres along River Raisin....Dandy General Custer's special horse is resting out behind the old barn. Dandy apparently did not make it to Montana to fight because he was injuried in 1876 battle.

If you want to learn more about General Custer and his wonderful horse Dandy let me know I will post the links I found. I recommend you study General Custer and his horse Dandy.

Okay now for the negative news...The Governor of Michigan should do something about the Bigelow highway (if you can call it a highway) ...this is the roadway directly adjacent to River Raisin crossing General Custer's property. This Michigan Road is America worst road pavement ever! It is 15 miles of patches and makes me want to move to Michigan become Governor so I could have this ro ay uch!

I am now wondering how the Democrats can fix the problems the President and the Democrats in Congress created.

Thank you for taking to the time to email NAMB this week. We do want to remove anyone with unethical business practices from our association and the business in general. I have read and reviewed your email, and I will pass it on to leadership in the California Association. They will decide if they would like to remove him from the association, and investigate his business practices.

According to Florida regulations a broker does not require an in-state office. From what I understand, as long as he’s licensed in FL he can have his home office wherever he’d like. The Department of Financial Services is the agency that regulates our business in Florida. You can call 850-410-9500 or visit their site www.flofr.com. They’d be the ones who can take away a license for unfair practices.

Again, thank you bringing this member to our attention."

It is cool and windy in Port Orange Florida .

May 17, 2007 (10PM)

Gasoline in Port Orange is now $3.08 per gallon. Some restaurants are reducing food quality to save a few cents. Everyone appears to be concerned by this Republican economy....or is it a Democratic economy.....Don't blame the Independents.

Michigan better get ready we are about to visit Tecumseh! Understand gasoline prices are over $3.25 so simply visiting Michigan will require credit card limit increase.

Sloppy Joe and Dr. Joe have something better to do that political stress talk. What is the purpose of talkradio.com giving American companies an advertising break. Looking for a new mission after vacation.

Hey Canton Bob keep the light on will see your porch on the 77 half of trip soon. Will wait on the Pennsylvania vacation until Washington lands.

Tonight's topic is why is Michael Savage going nuts about the mexicans taking over our country? If we have to learn spanish maybe we could ask them to bring use a tanker full of crude.

Clinton Bush for the next President. If there is someone out there that has the name Clinton Bush I would rather vote for him than have the same old same old for the past 20 years.

I don't care if they sell the interstates to the Austraila's they have become a gas and time wasting experience. US 1 and the other roadways will be having increased travel.

To the young folks experiencing their first oil screw, don't worry you have more power than the well head people. Insulate and turn off your pool pump one day a week and turn off your electric water heaters on weekends. The cost of those new light bulbs is too much to justify removing your old bulbs until it is time.

May 16, 2007 (5:00 AM)

It is a mild day here in Port Orange. The interstate I-95 is very low based upon the lack of any traffic noise. I believe the high cost of gasoline is impacting the economy much much more than we realize. Nevertheless, most people still have a job but one does not know when the hammer will drop on your fingers. Have a great day making America a better place.

Brady is fine.

May 15, 2007 12:05 AM

This evening at 11 PM we had significant wind gust but the sky is clear. Cool about 70 degrees. Stars seemed a little dim. Some Orlando bound air traffic no observations except I did not see the moon.

Look at this Mr Governor Crist:

*Important Information*
Volusia County has implemented a hiring freeze effective May 4, 2007. We will continue to accept applications; however, positions are only being filled on an “As Needed” basis upon approval from the County Manager. Each week the status of positions will be updated as they are approved to be filled. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your patience and understanding with this very sensitive matter.

Amazing Monday, C & H are in Key West via a Carnival. Hope those in Pa. are enjoying the cool weather (37 degrees this morning)

Sloppy Joe is doing great after his operation. Mary Ann my cousin made it through the night.

Topic of the day is the "Forever Stamp".does that mean it will take forever to get there. Having been a liberal for 40 years and for the past 18 years give or take a few years American Conservative also known as a Nixon Republlican......I am now ready to privatize the postal system. The tax form should no longer be mailed to each home

Tonight's topic is Pizza.

I define a town by the type of Pizza they make and the type of people that make the Pizza and the unique way it is served.

Pottsville Pizza has been made with a bread type crust that is prebaked at the bakery about 30 miles from the Pizza store on Center Street in Pottsville. Sorry I define Pottsville Pizza as the one made for the past 57 years at the same location. Not the "name Pottsville Pizza that is the new owners on the south end of town, but rather Steve's (Pottsville Pizza) I have in my Richard's who cares hall of fame the "50th Anniversity Pizza Box without the remains of the shredded cheese.

I sold Pottsville Pizza at Beury' Grove in the 60's. Beury's Grove is now called Moon Lake or Mountain Valley Lake. There are no restaurants or amusement rides anymore.

Angola, Indiana had a "beautiful blonde" owned and operated the Sir Pizza shop. It had a unique taste and a unique paper bag with this Olde guy printed on the white paper bag. I do not believe the pizza was on cardboard but it was a great college hang out for the 1967-70 period. Tri State University was Tri State College. The Sir Pizza shop was located just north of the former railroad and on the east side of the road.

In Harrisburg Pennsylvania the smallest and best tasting pizza had a very thin crust with about 6 slices of cheese. Very hot and very taste with Beer. This was about 5 miles from Harrisburg Area Community College at the original campus in the old Army buildings near front street on the River.

Tecumseh, Michigan currently has Brownies but the original Italian Village behind the hobby store was the best hand tossed Pizza in Michigan from 1972 to 1976. The crust was thick and the cheese was real cheese that made it a meal.

Toledo Monroe Street near Franklin Park Mall 1972 to 1978 had two great Pizza chains "Shakey's" and Pizza Inn. You could eat all the pizza and chicken you wanted for $3.00 beer by the picture while you watched old time movies of cars running into cars and charlie Chapman stuff.

Here in Port Orange we have Spruce Creek Pizza and Pete's Pizza is located in Daytona Beach. Several other Pizza stores but the Pizza is generally "new york style"

Okay its your turn to add your favorite old type pizza to this list. email candyorder@hotmail.com and I will post it here.

Well we finally have rain in Florida (8:30 PM)

Movie Talk:

If you liked Spiderman 1 or 2 you will like Spiderman 3. (the applied sr scale is 7 because we did not see it but ch did and based upon the applied method 7 is the best rating any spider.

Today someone I know provided the following:

A home that cost $438,000 last year in Longwood is selling for $383,000 and will likely appraise for about $400,000. (Old Winter Garden Road area) Folks could not afford the increase in payment due to interest. No future in flipping in Central Florida. Happy to report the number of homes for sale in Deltona did not "appear to be excessive" Deltona homes are less than $200,000 in general. It will take another two years for the market to fush out these troublec interest rated sales. Hopefully we can all hang on until the economy improves.(interest rates)

Jobs in Florida are less than 3 months ago, so this is proof that the economy is resting or going to another part of the country.

We (John" he", and Mr SJ (crane)) we should be concerned that our driver licenses can now be scanned from 30 feet away. Hundreds of million being spent to control Americans. Fortunately these words are placed in a computer in Norway. Now if it could keep drunk drivers off the roads we may consider. Mr. SJ said the government is selling the interstate highways to make them toll roads. We will need to drive the large old pipes and keep credit card purchase to zero. I will read again 1984 because it had ways of communicating by not communicating. "So never on Sunday will mean something I did not say on Thursday." (or you could just remember to vote and we will stay close to the government)

All our equipment is in Iraqi and our Delta Farce is all we have to fight and clean up after the storms. After seeing Delta Farce I really believe I am the skinny dumb guy that hits the water main under the Mexican town we invaded.

May 12, 2007 (10:00PM)

MOVIE TALK

Delta Farce was the best movie of the year still laughing we both enjoyed it and will see it again. Delta Farce is a Strong 10 on RS scale. The miracle of the movie was how our southern Army guys solve all our problems by having a rocket go down a dry well in the middle of Mexico and the water was gushing from the old well. Obviously I did not tell you about the movie but watch for the Mexican terror alert device. (you will laugh all the way home) This is the best funny movie of the year. Don't leave until all the credits are passed they are funny too....especially the lawsuit one.

This evening I spoke to Jerry in Delongha Georgia he said it just rained. No smoke in north Georgia its all in Florida. Okay here in Daytona Beach....saw some fireworks going off over the river.

News: I-10 and I-75 is closed near Lake City. (40 miles each) smoke is very heavy and people are moving out of Lake City.

Alot of train traffic in New Smyra Beach must be china imports from Maimi going north.

Cleaned the roof today. When you live in Florida you are always fighting the mildew.

Please pray for my cousin Mary Ann fighting cancer!

Happy Mother's Day to anyone Mother reading these words.

Good Night. Checking emails to see if we have more to post.

Out sourcing of American jobs is causing the R word!

I am attempting to post the words from a John to start a discussion of a difficult topic.

"My favorite is English only. We don't do new residents and favor by allowing bilingual as a law. It will break the country apart like it has in many other countries
John "

I agree with John, my grandfather years ago had to learn English just to get coffee and a roll. I refuse to visit Mexico because I just am too lazy to learn that difficult language. As an American we should all make this country America by talking to the people you meet even if they are spanish.....attempt to explain our wish to keep English (honor those people who wrote the Constitution in English) why should it not be a French speaking country they helped us beat the King of England....so we now own the rights to the English language.......So I here by create a new word...."modeerf"....it means a freedom that is a freedom you cannot exercise. Freedom is modeerf spelled backwards.

The word "modeerf" was created in 1989 when a black office girl selected the new office carpet color had it installed and she enjoyed it everyday. (It was gray with a little purple). Anyway it made the office boss upset but the freedom she had was a hidden freedom ....that is modeerf.

So if you want to say spanish words to all your coworkers at the construction site that is modeerf you are exercising a freedom that is hidden. It is your freedom but old "John" type Americans don't want it to be Freedom because then we have to learn spanish and we don't even like spanish foods, chinese foods or even french fries. (1 out of 3 is my modeerf being exercised....I don't eat french fries when my wife is nearby)

Another email came from Michael who is attempting to say there are 7 different kinds of people:

1. Givers

2. Servers

3. Teachers

4. Prophets

5. Admistrators

6. Mercey

7. The other one I forgot

Email me with some news of the day.

May 10, 2007 (Thursday 8:00 PM) Daytona Beach/Port Orange

Weather was heinz 57 a PA expression, but to be politically correct is was Democratic and Republican. (cannot use the s word)

Thanks Ray for being my Friend! There is nothing to Fear but Fear itself because you have many friends!!! Just email me an I can have it delivered.

Hello boss with the boating magazine tonight...thanks for your past help and protection. If you want a free lunch at Olive Garden call me I surely owe you the soup and bread!!

My neighbor said interest rates will remain unchanged. As a VP for Riverside he believes the Feds should have reduced the rate. They missed an opportunity to save a lot of folks.

Sports in Florida:

Does anyone know what Florida paid Donvan to stay?

Washington the laser is working again thanks to Mark. He fixed the $150,000 machine after it caught on fire. The government saved $100,000 at least and it works again thanks to the gator mechnical engineer.

Stocks appear to be in a resting spot.

You all know that a 5 year annunity has a 6% or up to a 9% exit fee for early cash out, however, you can take 10% plus growth out each year. I plan on doing so because when the war is over and we get into the next bull market I will need some cash. Google is 461.7 the benchmark is 475 is yahoo and MS impacting advertising $$.

Ray do you have any ideas for our train station. My latest idea is to lease the Dunn Lumber company site at the corner of Canal and US1 to put our rail line on the ground. Go to volusia.org property appraisers site to map. (http://volusia.org/property) type in canal and pick one in NSB then at the bottom click map ...then on the right click the aerial map zoom into the railroad yard! Gift shop with our railroad "NSB Expresss" Electric initially but oil later?

Does anyone out in Pennsylvania have any rails for sale?

Does anyone one out in Volusia have a money bag for this citizen project in NSB?

Ray lets proceed with preliminary layout on the site. I have been in telephone contact with the owner's agent.

Ray I know you don't get to NSB offen to look at the trains but yesterday I saw the first "coal cars" (whatever they are called) with advertising for the Marlins on two stone hauling cars. There was at least 30 loaded cars.

I will ask the owner of the Dairy Queen to set up a small ice cream stand within the

"NSB Express"

With enough money we could have a nice model train layout of something you believe would be interesting.

Ray I will also have "Richard's who cares hall of Fame" with all those Gore/Lieberman signs and the one boss gave me "Bush"

This recent statement was made by a political leader that I respect:

"firefighters are more assertive, and said that's because firefighters, moving from volunteer forces to professional departments, have become closer to their unions than their communities."

I cannot say who made this statement because it came from a copyrighted site and further more I will have to study this statement to see if it means anything or is it a political statement by the group posting it. If you know someone that made this statement call me.

the word "assertive" does not appear the words of the person I know. He is a very nice person and would not attack a group.

May 9, 2007 (Wednesday 9:00 PM)

This evening at 8PM sharpe the sky opened up and we saw a little sun in the high sky. The clouds over Daytona Beach are mostly smoke (very heavy all day) but it looked hopeful that soon sunny Florida weather will be here. The cloud clearing was east to west with the western portion of the opening probably 10 miles wide with a long sloping tall to the east. It was not a bright blue sky but rather a very light gray. The remaining part of the sky was depressing, but West to East opening in the sky gave me hope.

It was actually cool here in Daytona Beach (about 70) it was 80 degrees in Michigan and 75 in Ashland Pennsylvania.

The lady that sends out the emails with the lastest storm track accidentially said this Andrea storm is the first hurrance. Yesterday at 6:30 PM it was so windy the howling sound could be heard throughout our Port Orange home.

When I press Alt. Shift U these words will travel the world to Oslow Sweden (Norway) or whatever to a computer over there someplace then by the time I click refresh the words will be back in my computer. So if Albert Gore invented the internet he has a lot of knowledge of the Globe. Therefore we just need to ask him to run run run...........

to see what the temperature is in 1000 points all over the world....then take the average of the 1000 points and do this every hour on the hour for 2 years if the daily temperature raises 5 degrees in the second year his theory will be adopted. If there is a 5 degree rise in temperature in any two years this would indicate that Globe warming is occurring. However, to say mankind is causing the Globe warming there will have to be more study. It is cooler in Daytona Beach and much drier so the climate is changing over Florida. We need to get working on making forest fires from occurring year after year. We need a permanent effort to prevent all fires. This will reduce the temperature and save valueable energy resources. So Mr. Vice President Gore why don't you do something for the people first before you take us the wrong direction.

Send your emails to Richarddembinsky@hotmail.com and I will post here.

May 8, 2007 (Tuesday 1:05 AM)

Heavy smoke in the Port Orange, Florida Hensel Road Area!!!

Wind direction must have changed cannot see any forest fires!!

Our correspondent in Tecumseh, Michigan reports very hot day today 80 degrees. It was only about 70 here in Daytona Beach and windy.

Gasoline Prices in Michigan are down to $3.17 they were $3.25

Tonight in DeLand Florida at the Racetrack gas station I paid $2.94 but Daytona Beach is a little more.

Restaurants are seeing less business, Smoke bones has 56 less stores. The Big Boy in Sanford Florida had less than 20 people in the store at Noon to 1:30.

Okay, SJ reports the weather over Texas is strange. Could the weather control beam be pointed at the Mexico Texas border spot does not move for days.

Lots of women with small kids downtown Orlando, few cars few business people on the streets. (Jefferson , Orange, Jackson and Magnolia ) There is a new building with a large green grass dog way on top of a building. The very large building does not have people in yet (strange) The building is to have movies housing business etc.

We need a new government that tells us what they are doing. Are they planning on selling all our interstate highways to non USA companies?

Disney stock is $36.60.

Do you have any news stories?

The Homestead Act of 1866 enabled freedmen to acquire government lands in Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida. Florida was a natural choice. It was sparsely populated and for the most part undeveloped.

Volusia County had few black residents, actually few citizens of any race. The population in 1860 was 1158, of which 297 were black, according to the census. Most people in the area lived in the western part of the county, in settlements near the St. Johns River.

The freedmen chose to settle in the east, near the Halifax River, on public lands secured with the help of the United States Freedmen’s Bureau. About 500 former slaves initially settled there. An additional 1,000 would arrive via steamboats in the following months, making this area the most populous in Volusia County at that time. Dr. John Hawks named the settlement Port Orange in 1867.

John Hawks and several other men, who had been officers of black regiments during the war, formed the Florida Land and Lumber Company. They issued shares in this business venture. The officers purchased up to $1000 in stock. The former black soldiers put up $100 each, which was a large amount of money in those days.

Dr. Esther Hill Hawks arrived in Florida one month after her husband. As a teacher with the Freedmen’s Aid Society, she established what might have been the first integrated school in Florida. She taught black adults, and both black and white children.

There was a delay in getting a sawmill up and running, so the people lived in crude huts at the beginning, and the schoolhouse was unfinished for quite some time. So, Esther taught school outside, building a log fire for warmth when needed. The adults sat on benches, and the children sat on the ground. They wrote on slates.

In November 1867, she wrote in her diary that her school was flourishing, with 8 white students and 17 blacks. She reported the black and white children “playing together as harmoniously as kittens,” and that all the former soldiers were learning to read.

But things weren’t always so rosy. Later, in a letter, she reported that attendance was still small, and there was widespread sickness. In planting season, some students had to work in the fields and were not allowed to attend school. And some white parents objected to their children attending school with blacks. Only four white students were still enrolled.

Farming in Florida’s sandy soil and warmer climate proved to be a problem. The settlers needed more supplies and assistance, but they didn’t get it. Corruption in the Freedmen’s Bureau was blamed for the majority of their troubles. It was believed that agents of the Bureau sold supplies that were meant for the colonists.

The treasurer of the Florida Land and Lumber Company absconded with the money that had been borrowed to finish building the sawmill. By the spring of 1867, only about 250 people remained. Almost half of them were children.

An agent of the Bureau wrote, “Strong men with tears come begging for anything to appease the hunger of their families. They are willing to go any distance to labor and do go 50 and 60 miles to earn a morsel to keep starvation off from day to day.”

Esther Hill Hawks continued teaching, even after the colony failed. She traveled away from the settlement to be closer to the students who had left the settlement. That also brought her closer to unsympathetic whites, who despised integrated schools.

In January 1869, her new schoolhouse was torched. Dr. Esther Hill Hawks returned to New England, where she was able to practice medicine again.

The settlement, the Florida Land and Lumber Company, and the integrated school disbanded later that year. Many of the settlers returned to their home states or headed for local citrus groves looking for work. But a few of those original freed slaves remained, and that small settlement became known as “Freemanville.”

In 2003, the city of Port Orange unveiled a State of Florida Historic Marker on U.S. Highway 1, which recognizes the small neighborhood that was once known as the “Freemanville Settlement.”

If you have a cat you best be careful with pet food called Blue Spa Select Indoor cat food, Angie reports today that her cat is sick and the vet bill so far is $400.00.

While most of us can talk about hip replacements my cousin paid for his dog to have a hip replacement amazing, Then he put his dad in charge of the dog while he went to Hawaii with his wife, the dog died. Was the dog sad to have been abandoned for a few weeks? My son and his wife will be putting me in charge of Brady and I hope I can be up to the responsibility.

Tonight's news in the Daytona Beach area is the weather again. It is below 70 tonight and still windy.

If you are from John Glenn's hometown Wopakatoa (spelling later) Ohio and you are a member of the United Methodist Church in the same town let me know. I would like to confirm that someone is still alive and still singing the wedding bell blues/................Bill.................but in a happier tone.

I need news so I asked this person for some news and he said his best friend has learned that the Bush (our President) is plugging good oil wells on his property in Texas. Okay Mr. Vice President is this part of your oil plan? Put as much oil in LA. salt mines and keep oil in Texas for ? rainy day? Why do we sell almost all Alaska oil to the Japanese?

We see alot of opportunities for a new Presidential candidate.............I for one cannot say I found "him" yet.

The possibility that Albert Gore will run for President is now highly likely. But the Global Warming needs to go back to the drawing board until we have fully used all the available Pa. Coal ....I cannot support a Presidential candidate that does not support the use of coal.

We need to have the spinning wheel energy device back on the drawing board (computer screen)....each home should store enough energy for at least 7 day supply.

Weather radios may be okay but someone needs to bring back the old sirens....................that worked in Greensburg Kansas.

The low pressure center over the Atlantic is moving back to Florida and it may bring the rain we need.

May 6, 2007 (Sunday)(It rained in Palm Coast and Daytona Beach)

Correspondent SJ reported there was NO good news in Port Orange but he was wrong ......it rained and we did not get hit with a damaging storm. It is 9:23 PM and the wind is very heavy but much slower than the 5 storm in Kansas. Our prayers and best wishes go out to our fellow Americans in Kansas (Greensburg)

Okay, as promised I hereby report on the big news in Palm Coast. I have it from someone in the corporate office that Robert is the best grill master at Steak N Shake and he is due for a $3.00 raise to allow him to get his wheels! Come on Steak N. Shake corporate $7.50 is extremely low and you should have the corporate book rewritten again to authorize bonus for employees managing customers like Richard and grilling 800 steak burgers. Robert is a great person and he enjoys delivery of the worlds best steak burgers.

Now if you do a search Dembinsky you will find that someone joking with my gubernatorial television (channel 9) in Orlando appearance made a tape an entitled it "Hamburger Hall of Fame" ...exactly what the person was attempting to do is unknown but I know Robert makes the best "hamburger/steak burger" in Flager County/Palm Coast.......................so give him an extra tip when you see him working for corporate bosses that do not appreciate him yet.

175 Hogs were escorted through Palm Coast by State Troopers (about 30 of the troopers)....stopping traffic at Bell Terrace and allowing the parade of bikers to be given the royal treatment ...but I have no idea what charity was being supported. (10:35 AM)

I spoke to Joe the News Journal man at the front of the CVS and he needs you help...................even though I don't like the news journal....................Joe needs your support because a builder in Palm Coast apparently has placed a lien on his new home for impact fees..............ouch...............have builders gone to hell in Palm Coast?

Next CJ at Steak N Shake has a degree in business management (in my opinion) and is in need of your support.

Okay, our prayers must go out for my cousin Mary Ann Simms in a cancer hospital in Phila.

Generally speaking the people of Palm Coast seem to be happier than several months ago.

There was a garage fire in Ashland, Pennsylvania per the correspondent for breaking news.

We should consider invading Venezuela and freeing the people who are being held hostage by Citgo's big boss man. Talking with a man who lived in Venezuela he said Castro is dead and the boss man in Venezuela is happy Bush will be out office before he adds Venezuela to the Axis of Evil. If gasoline hits $4.00 a gallon this years here in Daytona Beach.................I will volunteer to be the first one to land on the beach and claim the sands as USA sands from Florida and we are here to claim them and the oil attached to same.

Sorry I had more important words to post but this is it for tonight!

May 5, 2007

Nice day in Pennsylvania about 60 degrees, here in Daytona Beach the air is clean (no smoke) and it is very hot at 12:50 PM. Storms in Kansas towns badly damaged. We need a private force Americans Working For Americans (AWFA) in each of the 50 States at least 50 people that can help Americans when they need help after a storm. The highly organized computer database supported (maps, equipment financials local contacts) could give an important immediate response to areas the Red Cross and the government seem not capable of handling. Our fellow American Mr. Bill Gates should help us get organized using the internet to train and develop people willing to volunteer to travel to nearby communities within each State. We need a private funding method such as credit card points to AWFA rather than simply to restaurant gift cards. The Bill Gates Credit Card could be organized to make the AWFA organization have access to funds in emergencies by a vote of 100 (2 from each State). Bill Gates and his associates could help us create computer database that can be accessed via the internet with password. We will need flat bed trucks and professional long distance drivers who will provide temporary housing and support services. AWFA will not replace local people doing the electric wire safety issues etc but will provide at least a minimum of support communities did not expect would be available to help. AWFA will arrive within the first week of a storm event and seek to support local actions or take on clean up on private property. Here in Daytona Beach Area near Hand Avenue we still have mobile homes covered by faded blue plastic. Why our local government does not help these people clearly demonstrates a I don't care about you approach that has evolved since 911.

Movie Talk:

Lucky you is about a poker player (Eric Bana) and his father and his on and off girl friend Drew Barrymore. Initially the SR index was an 8 but after further review the boring long card games drops it back to a 7. Drew Barrymore was acting alot and did not look as good as previous movies. This Eric Bana lost his $10,000 ticket (money) saved for the entrance fee for the big game so many time it was poor. The golf course game for $10,000 was funny but stupid and because of this portion of the movie...................I strongly recommend you save your money.....for a lottery ticket.

It is getting harder and harder (more difficult and more difficult) to find an employer that cares about its people. It does not matter whether you bust it 24 / 7 they just want to put you in your place. Will Dave go or stay. Was this a message from our new tough government. It appears at least one home in the Daytona Beach area may sell in the next 90 days.(Let's hope this is a good economic sign).

I had a great post for yesterday but damn Clearwire was not working so I deleted it.

Disney went past 36.0 a share just as I projected. Disney new high is 36.3 as of Friday. This is amazing that the stock market is looking to the future. The War will end soon, the Democrats will lose another election and New York will be New York New York New York. Is there any hope that we could get that guy from Tennessee....can we find someone related to Nixon?

Sorry Duncan Hunter your bumper stickers are not on my car because you failed to call me or email me, obviously you have a low battery in your phone.

This evening my mother in Pennsylvania was happy to see two deer at the edge of the woods. (50 feet from her home).

My 1989 Jeep (hobby vehicle 4/4) is finally getting worked on ...so difficult to find a person interested in saving such an old vehicle. ...it has character.....runs but not enough to be on the road...over 2000 rpms it stops running....do you have any ideas why....they found a squirrel nest under the hood....symbolizing how crazy I am to dump $3000 to make it look new again.

My son's overland jeep is having transmission trouble from pulling a boat...or he said it was poor from day one....

If anyone reads these words let me know......I will thank God for this miracle.

There are 67 counties in Florida and I created an obligation to serve formula that is the number of counties with the same letter.

NATIVE U + 2FJ + 3W +4GOD + 5BMP+ 6CL + 7HS

There is only one N A T I V (Volusia) E U (Union)

Flager Franklin....................Washington Walton Walculla

Do you get the idea....I can and you can name all 67 counties in less than a minute if you remember the formula.

Pennsylvania has 67 counties also and possibly Michigan

If you want something posted that no one else cares about just email me at candyorder@hotmail.com (attention Who Cares Hall of Fame)

May 4, 2007 I could not post because my clearwire service was down due to heavy smoke in the Daytona Beach area OR something they don't care to admit. I will end my contract as soon as I can....$180.00 to end service only have 90 days to put up with this. I expect an apology or explanation as to why they don't want to admit the had a technical problem.

What goes around comes around! I hope you reading these words understand how difficult of a day it has been for some of us living in Florida.

A friend in the West Palm Beach area is only about 10 days away from losing his home. He apparently was coasting when he should have been working two jobs or it appears he just sat around waiting for legal system to save him. Then hurricane Katrina did $100,000 damage to his home but he was too far upside down to get an attorney to fight the T.H. insurance company.

Each of us have coasted during times when we should have been peddling much faster, earning money not spending it on electronic devices for entertainment or fat food.

The very heavy smoke from forest fires in the nearby county has made this day a very unhappy and unhealthy day and the work related events were extremely unpleasant and tomorrow will be the most negative day in 37 years.

Okay, back to tonight's news story that has absolutely nothing to do within you but if you could change the name of this honored teacher you could smile remembering your best teacher.

I hereby honor my outstanding English teacher. I still have the special work booklet with those $10 words she secured for our class of 25 students going to college. It is amazing how one teacher could help me the one room school student (grades 1 through 6) to become a professional Civil Engineer in the States of Pennsylvania, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Florida. I almost became Governor of Florida secured 11,820 votes.

I hereby insert news article:

Here is the real news in Daytona Beach:

Forest fires northwest of town:

Please read the continuing story about purchasing a 30 inch storage cabinet from Home Depot below. Here is tonights events related to same. My wife carefully unpacked the plastic parts in the box that is named Work Force 30" storage cabinet (plastic) made in the USA. It was also broken..., returned it again . Chris the Port Orange Home Depot store manager did a great job. He had two workers open another box and discovered it was also broken. That means it took 3 storage cabinets to make one. I want to discover where in America this junk is manufactured. To add to my unhappiness I closed my hatch back door on the large carpet mat and the latch cut it. All this damage and unhappiness cost me much so I cannot list all the secondary health and impact a simple purchase had on my life.

Do not purchase WorkForce storage cabinets until I get a call from the factory.!!! I want Home Depot to stop selling these plastic cabinets if any other people report concealed damage in the Work Force cabinet boxes. Packaging used is poor to zero. They need to place protection caps on the thin plastic and make two smaller boxes to make it easier for store workers and consumers to handle. No I did not drop the box and the one at the store was opened by the workers and it was also broken.

This consumer event may be stupid to you so I challenge you to purchase a Workforce cabinet. The HD workers said they are difficult to put together. Let me know if you get it together in 15 minutes or if you found it to be a piece of junk. Thanks
