Okay hope you are ALL making ends meet. This Florida economy is very bad.

Let's talk about why you should not purchase an annuity from Met Life.

1. Tying up your cash only to be allowed to withdraw 10% a year reminds me of the great depression. In 1929 my grandmother convinced my grandfather that putting $500 cash in the bank was better than having it under the carpet. So against my grandfather's better judgement my grand mother paid someone to drive her to Minersville, Pennsylvania from Buck Run. This is a true story. My grandmother was so proud of her action having a little blue bank book with 500 dollars posted on Friday. She lived to be 99 years old and she wanted to let everyone know she made a big mistake. On the following Tuesday she had to walk over two monuntains to Minersville because there was a run on the Bank. She got no money back from the Bank several weeks later the bank started giving back $50.00 per month. So as soon as I see the banks going red I will start running to the bank. When the weather or the war turns our bad recession into a real Depression you know the plan.

A friend of mine lost his home this past Monday as a result in part to Tower H. Insurance company not paying for storm damage of $120,000 to his tile roof in Wellington, Florida. The home was on the market for about $700, 000 before the K hurricane of 2005. His home sold for $425,000. He has two daughters and a wife and they will be homeless in 10 days (Countrywide worked with him for over a year but did not force T.H. Insurance to pay the amount due)

l have a friend that is losing his government job in 60 days. He is selling his second home. This means property values in Florida are dropping fast.

Gasoline is now down to $2.88.

I am running on empty wallet....just hope I can hang on until Bush wins the damn war or loses an election.

Take your money out of the stock market if your stocks lose 10%.

Sorry I have been missing posting because of technical problems.

Okay, I interviewed 2 local businessmen and verified that restaurant business is down 30 to 60 percent. On a positive note there is hope the housing sell off may have stopped.

Local governments have hiring freeze and Daytona Beach intends to send at least 60 people and their great famlies looking for employment in another area of the country. Hopefully, there are jobs someplace in America.

On a recent trip to Michigan the three nationalize owners of the party convenience shop in Tecumseh asked me to help them find a better place for business/economy in Michigan was very poor.

So my answer to the above question........Nowhere in America.

It rained in Florida and Georgia! Thanks to T.S. Barry!

We have been on vacation to Michigan so I did not have time to post news so here is what I learned from our 2500 mile driving trip.

Gasoline Prices were over $3.50 in Ohio and Michigan!

The Economy in general is in much worst shape than I expected.
